In Brief

St. Paul’s Catholic University Chapel is distinctively granted its foundation and continued existence as a university chapel. From its origins as a chapel established for the purposes of serving the Catholic community of the then the small community of the University of Nairobi, the chapel community has grown in leaps and bounds to encompass 8 campuses and a vibrant non-student community, proudly and decidedly St. Paulian.

Being a non-territorial parish, St. Paul’s chapel has faithful who come every weekend from all corners of the city of Nairobi and beyond, attracted by the presence of God that has consistently attracted so many faithful to keep coming over to St. Paul even after changing residences and the sprouting of numerous other churches close to their homes. Many who make up the non-students community are themselves former students of the University of Nairobi.
